Papa Chilo’s Healing Hands

Bringing a family's legacy to life through thoughtful design and content

Challenge

Papa Chilo's Healing Hands was founded on a meaningful family legacy, but its visual identity didn't reflect the story behind the brand. The existing logo felt generic and lacked the personality needed to stand out in the competitive wellness market. Without a cohesive identity or consistent social content, the brand had little opportunity to communicate its values, build recognition, or create an emotional connection with its audience.

The challenge was to develop a visual direction that honored the inspiration behind the business while creating content that introduced the brand with authenticity and consistency across social media.

Rather than treating the project as simply designing a new logo, I focused on creating a brand identity rooted in the story of Papa Chilo, the owner's grandfather and the inspiration behind the business. I developed a custom logo that personified him, giving the brand a unique and memorable identity that reflected its heritage, warmth, and commitment to natural healing.

With the visual identity established, I created social media content that carried those same design elements across every post. From product photography and promotional graphics to educational and lifestyle content, every asset was intentionally designed to reinforce the brand's personality and create a cohesive experience wherever customers encountered it.

My Approach

A strong brand is built through consistency, not just a logo. By creating a distinctive visual identity and carrying it through every piece of content, Papa Chilo's Healing Hands established a recognizable presence that reflected the authenticity of its story. The combination of thoughtful branding and cohesive social content helped build trust, strengthened brand recognition, and gave customers a clear sense of the people and values behind the products.

Why It Worked

“Before our rebrand, we had amazing products, but they didn't immediately tell people who we were or why we started. Now, our logo tells our family's story before we ever say a word. People are naturally drawn to ask about Papa Chilo, giving us the opportunity to share his legacy and the heart behind everything we create.

That one marketing shift completely changed how people connect with our brand. Our products now tell our story even when we're not there, creating conversations, building trust, and opening doors to opportunities like getting our products into retail stores.”
